The Fading Candle

A Candle burning

A Life maybe?

Maybe a little more

Why the candle burns?

Why?

And when the candle fades

What's about it?

Do you care for life?

Why should you?

Why should I?

A vain existence

Just one among thousands

Why should I care for feelings?

Why should I care for tomorrow?

Will you send me flowers?

Why?

Just because you desire no Burden

In your frail little self-esteem

Many ways, just to say

Humanity is so below zero

And so You

Just close your eyes

Sweep you tears

And let the candle fade

Just burn the flowers

After the death we don’t really care

If you are an hypocrite

Or if you just care for appearance

You’ll rot all the same

So become more respectful

And shameful

Show what you really are

The fading candle is not just our life

But our dignity and morality as well
